Goodyear to open new Launceston dealership

A new Goodyear tyre dealership is set to open in Launceston at 45 Boland Street this September. The site, previously occupied by a Husqvarna dealership for 40 years, was leased within four weeks of being listed.

Operators Bianca and Matt Atkinson, along with business partner Aaron Dank, will manage the new location. The Atkintons already operate Goodyear franchises in Scottsdale and Burnie. The move follows a rebranding of the city’s existing Goodyear dealership to a Tyrepower store, prompting the company to seek a new location to maintain the Goodyear brand presence in the area.
