Google AI overviews accuracy can be improved with natural language
Google’s AI overviews, which provide AI-generated content summaries at the top of search results, have faced scrutiny regarding accuracy. While users can hide these summaries or switch to Google’s AI Mode for higher-quality results using complex reasoning models, the feature remains a standard part of the search experience.
To improve the reliability of AI-generated summaries, users are encouraged to move away from traditional keyword-based searching. Instead, searching using natural language—as if talking to a person—can help produce more accurate and trustworthy results within AI-driven search environments like Google and Bing’s Copilot.
