Italian Sites Deploy Google Analytics and Multiple Third‑Party Tracking Cookies

Several Italian websites disclose that they use a range of third‑party cookies and analytics services. The sites embed Google Analytics, LinkedIn’s synchronization cookie, Microsoft’s Clarity service, YouTube and Vimeo video tracking cookies, and Hotjar for behavioral data collection. All data are collected anonymously and transferred outside the EU, primarily to the United States and Malta, in compliance with GDPR requirements.

The disclosures note that personal data are replaced with anonymized identifiers before any cross‑border transfer, and that the collected information is used for statistical analysis, site‑performance reporting, and personalized advertising across the providers’ networks.
