Google and Adobe unveil AI short‑video creation tools for creators

Google has added a Short Video Overview feature to its NotebookLM AI platform, enabling subscribers of the AI Ultra and Pro plans to generate vertical videos up to 60 seconds from uploaded documents such as PDFs, slides, audio or video files. The videos are produced with the Nano Banana 2 Lite image model and can include illustrations, narrated audio and captions, offering a TikTok‑style format for quick study reviews.

Adobe introduced a Photo to Video extension for Lightroom Mobile Premium on iOS and Android, converting a single photo or short sequence into a short video clip using Firefly and Google Veo AI models. The tool estimates depth of field and animates scenes directly within the Lightroom app, and is billed through a generative‑credits system. Both features aim to streamline content creation for creators on mobile devices.
