Google and ChatGPT roll out new creator and integration features

Google is expanding the availability of its Search Profiles feature, which allows content creators and publishers to establish a dedicated presence directly within search results. Currently available in the United States, the feature consolidates a creator's biography, social media links, videos, and articles into a single location. Google has lowered the eligibility threshold, now requiring 35,000 followers on platforms such as X, Instagram, or YouTube, and 100,000 on TikTok.

Separately, ChatGPT is enhancing its integration with Google Drive for paying users. This update allows users to import files directly into their library and edit them within the interface. Unlike a static copy, ChatGPT can perform changes directly on the original file stored in Google Drive. Additionally, ChatGPT is introducing interactive quizzes and new workspace suggestions for paid subscribers.
