Google Android Auto may soon drop support for Android 10

Google is reportedly implementing changes to Android Auto that will impact users with older smartphones. Recent reports suggest that Android 10 may no longer be supported, potentially limiting the service to devices running Android 11 or higher.

Some Android 10 users have already received notifications stating that their phones will no longer be supported and that Android Auto will “stop working soon” unless the device is updated to Android 11. This poses a significant issue for many users, as older hardware may be incapable of upgrading to newer Android versions due to hardware limitations or the cessation of software support by manufacturers.
