Google Calendar adds support for three simultaneous time zones

Google Calendar has introduced a new feature for its web version that allows users to display three time zones simultaneously. This update aims to simplify scheduling for international teams by eliminating the need for manual time conversions when coordinating between multiple global locations.

The three time zones appear side by side in Day, Week, and Custom multi-day views. The feature is also integrated into the ‘Find a Time’ scheduling screen used when creating or editing events. To improve readability, users can assign custom labels to each time zone, such as city names, rather than relying solely on standard abbreviations.

The rollout began on September 25 and includes Google Workspace, Workspace Individual, and personal Google accounts. While Rapid Release users may see the update within 15 days, Scheduled Release domains are expected to begin receiving it around October 12. The feature can be configured by individual users without requiring administrator intervention.
