Google Cloud launches Gemini Enterprise for finance and legal sectors

Google Cloud has launched Gemini Enterprise for Financial Services and Legal, marking a strategic move into highly regulated industries. The platform utilizes agentic AI to automate complex workflows while maintaining strict governance and auditability.

The financial services version includes a Financial Research Agent equipped with over 50 specialized skills. Developed in partnership with Deutsche Bank, the tool integrates with licensed data sources such as FactSet, Moody’s, and S&P Global. It is designed to assist with KYC analysis, credit risk assessment, and transaction preparation, providing confidence scores and precise source citations to meet regulatory standards. Early adopters include Deutsche Bank and CME Group.

The legal version focuses on contract analysis, due diligence, and legal research. It connects with industry-standard systems like iManage, Thomson Reuters, and NetDocuments. To enhance document workflows, Docusign has announced the integration of its IAM platform with the new Google solution, allowing legal teams to automate contract summaries and tracking. Early users of the legal platform include major firms such as Cleary, Freshfields, and Weil.
