Google expands advertising presence on Pixel 11 and AI services

Google is integrating more advertising elements across its ecosystem, affecting both software services and hardware devices. On the Pixel 11 flagship smartphone, the 'My Pixel' application (formerly known as Pixel Tips) now includes a 'Store' tab that displays advertisements for brand products.

Beyond hardware, Google is expanding advertising into its Gemini AI and YouTube platforms. Users can manage intrusive interruptions and pop-ups on mobile devices by accessing the system's general settings and adjusting permissions related to redirects. This allows users to block unsolicited tabs and unauthorized content overlays that can slow down browsing or impact security.
