Google expands AI tool access through UAE and ASUS partnerships

Google is expanding access to its artificial intelligence tools through various partnerships. In the United Arab Emirates, the UAE Government’s Artificial Intelligence Office has collaborated with Google to provide university students with one year of the ‘Google AI Plus’ plan free of charge. This initiative, available until December 31, 2026, includes access to Gemini, AI-powered research tools, and 400GB of cloud storage to support academic research and digital skill development.

Separately, ASUS has announced a strategic alliance with Google offering complimentary access to AI services for customers purchasing selected ASUS and ROG laptop models. Depending on the model, users can receive three months of either Google AI Pro, which includes 5TB of cloud storage and priority access to advanced Gemini models, or Google AI Plus, which provides 400GB of storage and creative productivity tools.
