Google expands Find Hub to Wear OS with ‘Find people’ feature

Google is rolling out an update to its Find Hub service for Wear OS, introducing a ‘Find people’ feature. Previously, the platform was primarily used for locating lost devices such as smartphones, headphones, and trackers.

The new update allows users to see a list of people who are actively sharing their location with them, as well as those who can see the user's own location. The feature includes information on how long location sharing remains active.

However, the current implementation on smartwatches is limited. While users can manage sharing settings and view contact lists directly from their wrists, the wearable version does not currently display a full map. Instead, the app provides a link to view the specific location of others on a connected smartphone.
