Google expands Gemini Daily Brief feature to free users
Google has expanded its Gemini Daily Brief feature to all free users, moving it away from being exclusive to paid AI Plus, Pro, or Ultra subscription tiers. Initially introduced at the I/O event in May, the feature is designed to help users stay organized by automatically synthesizing information from emails, work schedules, and previous Gemini conversations to provide a detailed summary sent directly to a user's device.
The rollout is starting in the United States. To use the feature, personal users must connect their Google Workspace account to the Gemini app and enable the memory setting in personal intelligence settings, allowing the AI to analyze data from Gmail and other Workspace tools. Currently, the feature is available for standard personal accounts and does not yet support educational or enterprise accounts.
