Google expands Gemini Study Notebooks to Workspace users

Google is expanding its Gemini-powered ‘Study Notebooks’ feature to Google Workspace and Google Workspace for Education accounts. This tool allows users to upload course materials, such as scripts and slides, to generate personalized lessons, progress-check quizzes, and dashboards that identify knowledge gaps and strengths.

To ensure accuracy, the AI is designed to base its responses strictly on the uploaded materials rather than general training data. While the rollout is underway for various organizations, accounts within the European Economic Area (EEA) are currently excluded from this feature.
