Google expands hardware ecosystem with Pixel 11 and Pixel Tag

Google is expanding its hardware ecosystem with the Pixel 11 series and the new Pixel Tag. The Pixel 11 focuses heavily on integrated AI, utilizing custom Tensor chips to provide faster and more accurate on-device intelligence. This approach allows for features like real-time translation, call summaries, and photo editing to function without relying on cloud servers, which enhances both data privacy and functionality in areas with poor connectivity.

In the accessories market, Google has introduced the Pixel Tag, a pill-shaped Bluetooth tracker. While the device offers a compact design, its oblong shape makes it incompatible with the wide variety of accessories currently available for Apple’s round AirTags. Like most of Google’s tracking hardware, the Pixel Tag requires an Android device to function.
