Google Fitbit Air screenless fitness tracker details emerge

Google is expanding its wearable lineup with the Fitbit Air, a screenless fitness tracker designed for continuous health monitoring. The device is lightweight, weighing approximately 5 grams, and is constructed from recycled polycarbonate and PBT plastic. It features an AI coach powered by Gemini, though full functionality may require additional costs.

In India, the Fitbit Air has been listed on Flipkart with a price of Rs 13,999 and is marked as ‘coming soon’. While an exact release date has not been officially confirmed, some reports suggest a potential launch around October 2, 2026. The device is positioned as a lightweight accessory, though some users have noted initial discomfort with the included nylon strap.
