Google Fitbit Air sees price reduction amid market competition

Google has introduced a significant price reduction for the Fitbit Air, bringing the cost down to 99.99 euros from its usual price of approximately 140 euros. This move, seen at retailers such as MediaMarkt and Amazon, aims to capture the budget activity tracker market.

The Fitbit Air is a screenless device designed for daily fitness tracking, featuring AI-driven personalized coaching, heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen (SpO2) sensors, skin temperature tracking, and over 40 sports modes. It offers up to seven days of battery life and is water-resistant up to 5 ATM.

While the newer Fitbit Edge includes an AMOLED screen, reviewers note that the Fitbit Air remains a highly practical choice for sleep tracking due to its thin, lightweight, and screenless design, which avoids the bulkiness of traditional smartwatches.
