Google Fitbit Air wearable reviewed; Bevel app offers superior health metrics

The Google Fitbit Air is a screenless smart band priced at ¥1,680 that tracks heart rate, blood‑oxygen, temperature and sleep using Google Health on Android 11+/iOS 16.4+. The app shows daily activity, energy score, calories and offers a paid Premium tier with Gemini‑powered coaching, though the band lacks GPS and on‑device display.

An alternative iOS app, Bevel, can import Fitbit Air data via Google Health and provides a clearer interface, habit and strength‑training logs, live workout activity and free barcode food scanning without AI‑generated commentary. Bevel is free with optional paid features, and users can disable Google Health’s Premium coach while still using the band.
