Google Gemini introduces Sheets canvas for interactive data interfaces

Google has introduced a new feature called Sheets canvas, which utilizes Gemini AI to transform spreadsheet rows and columns into interactive visual interfaces. This tool allows users to generate customized dashboards, heat maps, and card galleries using natural language instructions, eliminating the need for complex formulas or programming knowledge.

Initially released for Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers in the United States, the feature is expected to roll out imminently to markets in Spain and Latin America. The Sheets canvas maintains a real-time synchronization with the original spreadsheet; any edits, deletions, or additions made within the visual interface are automatically reflected in the corresponding cells of the sheet.
