Google Gemini teams up with Kaun Banega Crorepati in India

Sony Pictures Networks India and Google India have announced a partnership that embeds Google Gemini into the upcoming season of the quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC). The AI assistant will be integrated across Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV, providing viewers and prospective contestants with a "knowledge companion" that helps with registration steps, eligibility information and general‑knowledge preparation.

The collaboration is highlighted in a new promotional film featuring host Amitabh Bachchan, and includes interactive challenges delivered through the Google Gemini app. Executives from both companies said the integration aims to blend entertainment with artificial‑intelligence‑driven learning for millions of Indian households. Registrations for the new KBC season are now open through official channels.
