Google Health 5.10 update introduces new features

Google is rolling out the version 5.10 update for the Google Health app on both iOS and Android platforms. The update introduces three primary features designed to enhance user health monitoring and data management.

In Japan, users with Pixel Watch and Fitbit devices can now access Irregular Rhythm Notifications. This feature monitors heart rhythm data in the background during periods of stillness or sleep to detect potential signs of atrial fibrillation (AFib).

Additionally, the update improves the Readiness Score by incorporating more sleep-related signals to provide a more personalized user experience. Users can also now manage their data more easily by using voice or text commands to ask the Google Health Coach to delete specific daily logs, such as workouts, meals, or weight entries, excluding medical records.
