Google integrates Antigravity AI coding agent into Gemini Enterprise

Google has expanded its AI coding agent, Antigravity, by integrating it directly into Gemini Enterprise subscriptions. This move allows organizations using Gemini Enterprise Standard, Plus, or Standard Emerging Market tiers to access the agentic development platform without requiring additional add-on licenses or separate billing.

To better fit existing developer workflows, Antigravity is being released as an extension for several Integrated Development Environments (IDEs). The Visual Studio Code extension is generally available, while extensions for Visual Studio, JetBrains, and Zed are currently in preview. These extensions allow developers to manage multi-step engineering tasks, review inline diffs, and inspect plans within their preferred coding environments.

In response to enterprise requirements for governance, Google has introduced several administrative controls. IT teams can now manage security policies, including sandboxing workspaces, restricting browser access, and controlling access to MCP servers. Additionally, the platform includes audit logging for prompts and responses to assist with compliance, alongside centralized tools to monitor token consumption and set project-level budget caps.
