Googlebook OS hardware expands with Lenovo, Acer, and potential Samsung entries

Major hardware manufacturers are launching devices powered by the new Googlebook OS, a platform that integrates the best features of Android and ChromeOS. Early partners include Lenovo and Acer, who have released models featuring Gemini Intelligence and Intel Core Ultra processors. The Lenovo Googlebook 15 features a 15.3-inch OLED 2.8K screen, while the Acer Googlebook 14 is a 2-in-1 convertible with a 14-inch OLED touch display and up to 16 hours of battery life.

Recent Geekbench data suggests Samsung is also preparing a Googlebook device, despite being absent from the initial list of official partners. Leaked specifications for a Samsung model (XE940XSA) indicate it will utilize the Snapdragon X Elite processor, 16 GB of RAM, and run on Android 17. This device would align with the high-performance hardware trends seen in other Googlebook models from brands like Dell and HP.
