Google introduces Quick Share updates and reveals new fitness tracker
Google has introduced several updates alongside its Pixel 11 launch. A new tap-to-share feature has been added to Quick Share, allowing for rapid exchange of files, photos, and contact data by simply bringing compatible mobile devices close together. While currently available for Android-to-Android transfers on Pixel 6 and newer models, the feature is expected to expand to other Android devices and potentially support iPhone-to-Android transfers in the future.
Additionally, advertisements for the Pixel 11 series in Australia have revealed a mysterious new fitness tracker. The device features a narrow, elongated screen and a form factor similar to a traditional fitness band rather than a circular smartwatch. The product does not match any current wearables listed in the Google Store, such as the Pixel Watch 5 or Fitbit Charge 6, leading to speculation regarding a potential new Fitbit model.
