Google leads Brazil’s 2026 most desired employers ranking

The 25th edition of the ‘Carreira dos Sonhos’ survey, conducted by Cia de Talentos, has identified the most desired companies to work for in Brazil for 2026. The study, which surveyed over 71,000 professionals including youth and high-level leadership, highlights a shift in career priorities.

Google secured the top position in the general ranking, followed by Itaú Unibanco and Vale. Nestlé achieved sixth place and holds the distinction of being the only company to appear in all 25 editions of the survey since its inception in 2002. Other notable companies in the top ten include Grupo Globo, Ambev, L'Oréal, Bayer, and Microsoft.

The research indicates that modern professionals are increasingly prioritizing reputation (22%), innovation and technology (21%), and professional development (19%) when choosing employers. While traditional factors like salary and stability remain relevant, there is a growing emphasis on well-being, inclusion, flexibility, and mental health.
