Google Nest Learning Thermostat 4th Gen features Matter support
Google has introduced the 4th generation of the Nest Learning Thermostat, featuring a circular color display with a resolution of 480 x 480 pixels. The device is designed for standard 24-V heating and cooling systems and aims to reduce energy consumption through adaptive learning and remote management via the Google Home app.
Key technical updates include support for the Matter smart home standard and integrated WLAN (802.11b/g/n) connectivity. To address temperature inconsistencies in different areas of a room, the package includes a second-generation temperature sensor, allowing for more precise climate control. The thermostat maintains a compact design with a diameter of approximately 8.4 cm and is expected to consume less than 1 kWh of electricity per month.
