Google offers 15,000 scholarships for digital training in Colombia

Vice President José Manuel Restrepo has outlined the registration process for 15,000 free Google scholarships in Colombia. The initiative, managed through the organization Colnodo, is designed for adults over 18 seeking training in the digital economy.

Participants can access Google Career Certificates via Coursera, covering specialized fields such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data analysis, and digital marketing. While the program does not require prior university training or professional experience, applicants must have a computer and internet access to complete the asynchronous coursework.

To apply, interested individuals must visit the official Colnodo portal, locate the specific call for applications, and complete the online form. The rollout is part of the Talento ColombIA strategy, which aims to position digital upskilling as a cornerstone of national policy.
