Google offers free one-year AI Plus subscription to university students

Google has launched a global initiative providing eligible university students with 12 months of Google AI Plus at no cost. This offer is available in over 140 markets, including Pakistan and Brazil.

The subscription includes access to Gemini Omni, doubled Gemini usage limits, and 400GB of cloud storage shared across Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Photos. The program aims to assist students with academic research, writing, and organization through a dedicated Gemini Student Hub.

To redeem the offer, students must use a personal Google account and verify their enrollment status through Google’s verification process. A valid payment method is required for registration, though no charges are applied during the initial 12-month period. In certain regions like Brazil, the subscription will automatically renew at a monthly fee after the free year unless canceled.
