Google Photos bug prevents editing and deleting on Pixel devices

A software bug in Google Photos is preventing users of several Pixel smartphone models from managing images after they have been edited. According to reports on Reddit, once a user performs an action such as cropping or rotating a photo, the image can become unresponsive within the app.

Users have reported that while the commands for editing, sharing, or deleting the photo remain visible on the screen, pressing the buttons produces no response. The issue appears to affect various devices, including the Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9a, and Pixel 10 Pro XL. In some instances, edited photos also become temporarily invisible to other applications, requiring users to use the direct sharing command within Google Photos to bypass the error. There is currently no definitive solution available for this malfunction.
