Google Pixel 10 Pro discounted in Mexico as Android phones grow larger

PcComponentes is promoting the Google Pixel 10 Pro in Mexico with a price drop to €772 from €1,099. The flagship Android phone features a 6.3‑inch OLED LTPO display with up to 3,300 nits brightness, a Tensor G5 processor, 16 GB of RAM, a 4,870 mAh battery capable of 100‑hour standby, and fast charging that reaches 55 % in 30 minutes. Google also guarantees seven years of OS and security updates.

A recent market analysis of Android smartphones in the first quarter of 2026 shows the sector shifting toward larger devices and higher specifications. Phones with screens larger than 6.7 inches now account for almost half of all units, and over 80 % exceed 6.5 inches. Memory is moving from 8 GB to 12 GB as the norm, while storage is trending from 256 GB toward 512 GB. Android 16 has become the dominant operating system, running on more than half of the sampled phones. Qualcomm remains the leading chipset supplier, followed by MediaTek, with Samsung’s Exynos share declining.
