Google Pixel 11 series launches with Tensor G6 and Gemini AI
Google has officially launched its Pixel 11 smartphone series, which includes the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and the foldable Pixel 11 Pro Fold. The new lineup is powered by the Google Tensor G6 processor, built on a 2nm process, and features the Titan M3 security chip. The devices run on Android 17 and emphasize deep integration with Gemini AI.
Key software innovations include ‘Rambler’, an AI-powered dictation tool that removes filler words from speech, and ‘Magic Capture’ for enhanced photography. The Pro models feature significant camera upgrades, including larger sensors and improved telephoto capabilities. The hardware also introduces ‘HiLight’, a rear LED ring for visual notifications.
While the series offers improved performance and AI capabilities, some reviewers note the release is iterative in design. The Pro XL model features a larger 6.8-inch display and a 5060 mAh battery. Global availability is expanding, with recent launches in markets including India and the UAE.
