Google Pixel 11 leaks reveal 2nm chips and rising prices

Leaked information regarding the Google Pixel 11 series reveals a new hardware lineup for the European market. The family is expected to include the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. These devices will utilize the Tensor G6 processor built on TSMC's 2nm architecture, aimed at improving thermal performance and energy efficiency. Other notable technical updates include a base storage configuration starting at 256 GB and the integration of a MediaTek M90 connectivity modem.

Due to the increased costs of 2nm wafers and memory modules, prices in Europe are expected to rise by approximately 100 euros compared to the previous generation. Estimated prices include 999 euros for the standard model and up to 1,999 euros for the Pro Fold.

Separately, Nothing co-founder Akis Evangelidis announced plans to expand the company's smartphone portfolio. After a period of slowed releases due to rising component costs—specifically memory, which can account for over 50% of a phone's cost—Nothing intends to double its smartphone output in 2027. The company aims to increase annual volumes by 50%, with a strategic focus on the Indian market through new retail locations in cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, and Hyderabad.
