Google Pixel 11 Pro unveiled and Android 17 beta released for Pixel phones

Google is set to launch the Pixel 11 Pro in August. Leaked specifications show a Tensor G6 processor, a 6.3‑inch LTPO display with up to 2,450 nits brightness and 240 Hz PWM dimming, 12 GB or 16 GB of RAM, and a 4,707 mAh battery. The design is slightly thinner than its predecessor with a more subdued camera bar, and the price is expected to move higher into premium territory.

At the same time, Google has made the Android 17 beta update available for Pixel devices. The update addresses several bugs, including a screenshot‑tone issue that prevented silent captures, frame‑rate problems when using 5× video zoom, a graphics‑driver regression that reduced 3D performance, and an external‑display cursor visibility bug. Additional minor fixes improve overall stability and performance.
