Google Pixel 11a leaks reveal Tensor G6 chip and design

Leaked CAD renders from Android Headlines and OnLeaks have provided a detailed look at the upcoming Google Pixel 11a, a budget-friendly smartphone expected to launch in early 2027. The device appears to follow a design continuity strategy, maintaining a visual aesthetic similar to the Pixel 9a and Pixel 10a, featuring a flat design and a pill-shaped rear camera module that is slightly more rounded than previous iterations.

Despite the conservative exterior, the Pixel 11a is expected to feature a significant internal upgrade by skipping the Tensor G5 to move directly to the Tensor G6 processor. Other reported specifications include 8GB of RAM, a Titan M3 security chip, and a MediaTek modem. The display is anticipated to be a 6.3-inch panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3,350 nits.

The device is rumored to include a 5,000mAh battery and will likely be available in four colors: Obsidian (black), Fog (silver), Olive (green), and a purple shade potentially named Orchid. Due to rising component costs, analysts suggest the starting price could increase from the previous $499 level to approximately $599.
