Google Project Dazzler seeks local Ohio businesses for data center development

Local businesses in Southern Ohio are being invited to participate in the economic opportunities surrounding Project Dazzler, a Google data center development located in Franklin Furnace. To facilitate this, Scioto County Commissioners and Holder Construction, in partnership with the Portsmouth Area Chamber of Commerce, have scheduled a Regional Build Briefing for August 27 at Shawnee State University.

The briefing aims to connect local contractors and suppliers with the project. While construction-focused roles like electricians, plumbers, and paving companies are expected, the project also seeks a wide range of service providers. This includes businesses specializing in cleaning, office supplies, landscaping, security, and transportation. Attendees will have the opportunity to complete a Prequalification Interest Form to begin the process of bidding for work.
