Google Pixel smartphones see price shifts and future model leaks
Google's Pixel smartphone lineup is experiencing significant price fluctuations and early leaks for future generations. In the United States, the Pixel 10a has seen a price increase of $100 for both the 128GB and 256GB models, a move attributed to rising memory component costs. However, consumers in the UK can find the Pixel 10a at discounted rates through Amazon Prime Day deals, with prices dropping as low as £387.
Regarding the Pixel 11 series, recent market data from Taiwan shows rapid price drops for flagship models like the Pixel 11 Pro Fold and Pixel 11, as retailers attempt to capture market share during summer sales. In Europe, the Pixel 11 has also seen promotional discounts on Amazon, bringing the 256GB version below the 900 euro threshold.
Looking ahead to 2027, leaks from the GSMA IMEI database suggest the upcoming Pixel 12 series will consist of four models: the Pixel 12, Pixel 12 Pro, Pixel 12 Pro XL, and the Pixel 12 Pro Fold. These devices are expected to run on Android 18. Early technical details indicate potential display resolution refinements, most notably a significant pixel density increase for the internal screen of the Pixel 12 Pro Fold.
