Google releases unscheduled software update for Pixel 11 series

Google has released an unscheduled software update for the Pixel 11 series, including the Pixel 11, Pro, Pro XL, and Pro Fold models. The update, identified as build CD1A. 260905. 001. B1, is approximately 97 MB in size and carries the September 1, 2026, security patch level.

This release follows an earlier version (A1) distributed at the beginning of the month that reportedly did not reach all users. While the update addresses critical bugs, performance, and stability, it does not include new features or the visual changes expected with the upcoming Android 17 QPR1 release.
