Google Reviews bug shows 'no reviews' on many business listings

A technical issue in Google Business Profiles is causing numerous business owners to see a "You have no reviews yet" message when attempting to read their reviews, even though the reviews are still present on the live listing. The problem appears random and has been reported in forums by users in the United States and elsewhere, with some listings showing thousands of missing entries. Google Product Expert Amy Toman confirmed the anomaly and indicated it is not linked to recent reinstatements.

Separately, guidance for agencies highlights that missing reviews are often due to policy violations, duplicate or merged profiles, or bugs during updates. Reviewing profile health, checking for policy conflicts, and auditing for duplicate listings are recommended steps to diagnose and address missing review cases.
