Google to unveil Pixel 11 series, including foldable Pro Fold, at August 12 event
Google has announced a “Made by Google” event for August 12, 2026 in New York to launch the Pixel 11 family. The lineup will include the standard Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and the new Pixel 11 Pro Fold, as well as the Pixel Watch 5.
Leaked specifications show the Pro Fold with a 10.1 mm closed thickness, a 4.8 mm opened thickness, OLED displays (outer 1,080×2,342 px, inner 2,076×2,160 px) and RAM options of 12 GB or 16 GB. Battery capacity is expected to be at least 4,658 mAh. The device will be hearing‑aid compatible and support Bluetooth LE, LTE, Ultra‑wideband, NFC and Thread.
Google will raise the entry‑level storage across the series from 128 GB to 256 GB, eliminating the 128 GB option. European pricing leaks suggest an overall price increase of roughly €100. The launch timing is earlier than previous Pixel events, positioning it ahead of Apple’s September announcements and Samsung’s July Galaxy Fold 8 release.
An FCC filing (model GZDQ6) confirms the Pro Fold’s regulatory clearance, and multiple regional reports echo the event details, confirming the date, venue, and product expectations.
