Google Search integrates conversational AI and autonomous agents

Google is implementing significant updates to its Search platform, integrating advanced artificial intelligence to transform how users find and interact with information. The core engine is being upgraded with the Gemini 3.5 Flash model to power a new AI Mode, enabling real-time conversational capabilities. This allows users to engage in continuous, context-aware dialogues directly within the search interface.

The redesign includes a dynamic search box that expands into an interactive workspace capable of processing text, full documents, images, and live code. New autonomous background agents will be able to monitor web updates, such as price changes or property listings, 24/7 based on user instructions. Additionally, the update introduces browser-based coding tools that allow developers to test and debug code snippets directly within the search browser.

Looking toward 2025, Google aims to further evolve the platform through technologies like voice commands and augmented reality, moving away from static links toward a more intuitive, interactive experience.
