Google teases Pixel 11 with interactive back panel and lauds Brazil startup ecosystem
Google announced a teaser for its upcoming Pixel 11 smartphone, highlighting a novel interactive back panel that could feature customizable LED patterns for notifications, charging status and other alerts. The device is also expected to include a faster Tensor processor, upgraded camera hardware and the latest Android 15 operating system, with a launch event slated for August 12.
At a Demo Day in São Paulo, Henry Couto, head of Google for Startups Accelerator, described Brazil as a “golden‑egg chicken” for the company, noting that Brazilian startups create competitive solutions despite high capital costs. The Accelerator program, running in ten‑week cycles since 2016, offers mentorship, specialist access and long‑term support, though it does not guarantee investment or acquisition.
