Google is developing a new setting for Gemini Live that will let users disable the “guided vision” mode, which currently highlights objects seen through the phone’s camera. The option appears as a toggle labeled “Guided vision in Live” in the latest Google app build (version 17.38.5 sa arm64) and is still being tested before a public roll‑out.

In addition, Google has prolonged the preview phase of Gemini 3.5 Pro on its Vertex AI platform. The enterprise‑focused model will feature a 2 million‑token context window, a “Deep Think” mode for complex reasoning, and competitive usage pricing. The preview has been delayed beyond the original schedule to allow further internal validation before a broader release.
