Google launches Pixel 11 series with Gemini AI and shifts production

Google has officially launched its Pixel 11 smartphone series, featuring the new Tensor G6 chip and deep integration of Gemini Intelligence. The lineup includes the standard Pixel 11, the Pixel 11 Pro, the Pixel 11 Pro XL, and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Key technological advancements include the HiLight RGB notification system, improved Night Sight photography, and a Pro Zoom feature on Pro models capable of up to 120x magnification.

The series is being released alongside the Pixel Watch 5 and Pixel Buds Pro 2. In the United States, the Pro models feature eSIM-only capabilities, while international versions retain physical SIM slots. To support the launch, carriers like Verizon are offering various trade-in deals and monthly service plans.

Strategically, Google is shifting its manufacturing operations away from China. By 2027, production is expected to move primarily to India and Vietnam to mitigate geopolitical risks and supply chain disruptions. This transition aims to stabilize device availability and protect against potential tariffs in major markets like the United States.
