Google unveils Pixel 11 series and AI-driven hardware ecosystem

Google has officially unveiled its 2026 hardware ecosystem, headlined by the Pixel 11 smartphone series. The new lineup, which includes the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, is powered by the new Tensor G6 processor built on a 2-nanometer process. A central theme of this generation is the deep integration of Gemini Intelligence, an AI assistant capable of performing multi-step tasks across various applications through screen-parsing technology.

The Pixel 11 series features several hardware improvements, including a 48-megapixel main camera sensor with increased light sensitivity and a new HiLight LED ring for visual alerts. All models now start with a baseline storage capacity of 256GB. Prices for the series begin at $899, with the Pro Fold model priced at $1,899.

Beyond smartphones, Google introduced the Pixel Watch 5, featuring Wear OS 7 and advanced health monitoring tools like the Health Guardian suite. The company also launched the Pixel Tag, a stainless steel item tracker designed to compete with Apple’s AirTag. The Pixel Tag utilizes Bluetooth and Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology, integrating with the Find Hub network of over one billion Android devices for precise location tracking. The tracker is scheduled for release in November 2026.
