Goose surprise house party set shut down by police in Boulder

The band Goose performed a surprise seven-song set at a house party near the University of Colorado Boulder on Wednesday night. The event, which served as an unofficial kickoff for the band’s upcoming Colorado concert series, was organized in collaboration with the local student band Sunkissd.

As the crowd grew to include students on nearby rooftops and in surrounding alleys, the Boulder Police Department intervened to shut down the performance. During the rendition of the song ‘Animal,’ a police officer approached the stage to halt the music. Despite brief attempts by frontman Rick Mitarotonda to finish the song, the show was effectively ended by law enforcement.

Goose is scheduled to perform several upcoming shows in Colorado, including multiple dates at Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
