Gopher Invitational collegiate golf tournament begins in Minnesota

The 2nd Swing Gopher Invitational is scheduled to take place from September 20 to September 21 at the Windsong Farm Golf Club in Independence, Minnesota. The two-day tournament features a 15-team field of collegiate programs, including the University of Minnesota, Iowa State, Cincinnati, Georgia, Nebraska, and West Virginia.

The event begins with a 36-hole competition on Sunday followed by the final 18 holes on Monday. The host course, Windsong Farm, was designed by John Fought and Minnesota native Tom Lehman and is recognized as one of the premier modern golf courses in the United States.

Iowa State enters the competition following a strong performance at the Bearcat Invitational, where senior Dinchao Wu secured his first career Top-10 finish. The University of Minnesota will compete with a lineup featuring Chun-Ta Wu, Jack Crousore, Joe Honsa, Torger Ohe, and Martin Shone, alongside several individual competitors.
