GoPro reports 31 percent revenue decline in Q2 2026

GoPro, Inc. reported a significant decline in its second quarter financial results for the period ending June 30, 2026. Total revenue fell 31 percent year-over-year to $105 million, driven largely by a 38 percent drop in camera unit sell-through, which totaled approximately 291,000 units.

Despite the hardware slump, the company saw growth in its subscription and service sector. This revenue increased 11 percent year-over-year to $29 million, representing 28 percent of total revenue. The subscriber attach rate reached a record 69 percent. Additionally, GoPro’s AI content licensing program contributed $2 million to these subscription revenues.

Financial losses widened during the quarter. The GAAP net loss was $51 million, or $0.30 per share, compared to a $16 million loss in the same period the previous year. The company noted that these results included a $19 million benefit from tariff refunds, which was partially offset by a $15 million charge related to component purchase commitments.

CEO Nicholas Woodman highlighted the launch of the MISSION 1 Series of cameras as part of an effort to expand the company’s creative potential and maximize shareholder value through an ongoing strategic review process.
