The Kenya Premier League continues this Saturday with several key matchups. Defending champions Gor Mahia will travel to Homa Bay to face APS Bomet at the Raila Odinga Stadium. Gor Mahia enters the match following a 4-2 victory over Murang’a Seal, while APS Bomet aims to replicate a 4-1 win they secured against the champions last season. APS Bomet head coach Sammy ‘Pamzo’ Omollo expressed confidence in securing points despite the absence of key centre-back Edward Mazembe due to injury.
In another fixture, KCB will host Mathare United at Police Sacco Stadium. KCB is looking to secure its first win of the season after an opening-day draw. Coach Robert Matano noted KCB’s historical head-to-head advantage over Mathare United but warned that the opponent's organized defense would pose a significant challenge.
