Goran Bregović performs concert at Sardis Ancient City

Musician Goran Bregović performed a concert at the Sardis Ancient City, the former capital of the Lydian civilization, as part of an event organized by the Manisa Metropolitan Municipality. The performance featured Balkan melodies within the historic atmosphere of the ancient site.

During the event, Manisa Metropolitan Mayor Besim Dutlulu presented Bregović with a handmade carpet crafted by women from Demircili. In his address, Mayor Dutlulu dedicated the concert to those who lost their lives in a recent accident in Soma, as well as to laborers, grape growers, and olive farmers who struggle to receive fair compensation for their work.
