Goran Dragić rewards worker for returning lost wallet in Croatia

Marin Pirija, a seasonal worker for the municipal company Murtela, found a wallet containing cash, multiple currencies, and essential documents on Slanica beach in Murter, Croatia. The wallet belonged to former NBA player Goran Dragić.

After finding the items during his morning cleaning shift, Pirija handed the wallet over to his company's management. The company contacted the Slovenian Basketball Federation to obtain Dragić's contact information and successfully returned the belongings.

In gratitude, Dragić provided a generous monetary reward along with a message expressing his desire to meet Pirija. The former Miami Heat player also met with Pirija and his family, signing a basketball for Pirija's son and expressing relief that his passport and identification were recovered.
