Gordan Grlić Radman denies Pakistan migration agreement claims
Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlić Radman denied allegations made in Parliament regarding a purported migration agreement signed during his visit to Pakistan. Responding to claims by Nikola Grmoja of the Most party, Grlić Radman stated that his trip was intended to serve Croatian economic interests and open the Pakistani market to Croatian companies.
Grlić Radman accused Grmoja of “deceiving the public” and “inventing” the existence of an agreement that would facilitate the arrival of Pakistani workers to Croatia. The Minister noted that representatives from the Croatian Chamber of Economy and various domestic companies accompanied him to support business interests.
The debate escalated within the Sabor, leading to Grmoja being removed from the session for a double duration after repeatedly interrupting the proceedings. Grmoja had argued that the Minister's actions facilitated the entry of foreign workers from a culture he claimed was incompatible with Western European civilization.
